Затворената уранова мина Пробойница се намира близо до гара Лакатник в Искърския пролом. Пътят за мината и намиращото се над нея село Губислав са на туристическата пътека към близката хижа Пробойница. Районът на Лакатник, посещаван от планинари, пещерняци и катерачи е едно от най-популярните места за алтернативен туризъм в България. Малко хора свързват Лакатник с уран, радиация и кариера. Само на километър - два от катерачните маршрути, пещерите и туристическите пътеки се намира бившата мина. Реката, която минава през нея, минава и покрай туристическите маршрути и селото и се влива в река Искър. Въпреки популярността и посещаемостта на мястото, никъде няма маркировка, обозначаваща че в близост има уранова мина и повишен радиационен фон. Явно поставянето на няколко предупредителни табели не е толкова необходимо, колкото ремонта на пътя, за да могат да преминават машините, извозващи чакъл от урановите насипи. Според хора от близките села, този чакъл се използва за строеж на магистрали, насипване на черни пътища, трасета на БДЖ и други видове строителни дейности…на практика мината се ползва като кариера за инертни материали. Проблемът е, че този чакъл не е безопасен- радиационният му фон е в пъти над нормата.
Уранов насип край мина Пробойница и багер, с който се изгребва чакъла от него и се товари в камиони.
Радиационния фон на машините, изгребващи и извозващи чакъла от мината е близо 3 пъти над нормата.
Табелите, обозначаващи урановата мина и повишената радиация в района са заменени с куче-пазач.
Гайгеровият брояч отчита 52 микрорентгена върху чакъла, при норма 20.
